A photographer went viral on social media after he was photographed while uncertainly waiting if any student would buy a photo he took during a graduation ceremony.

Aldo Banaynal took the photo at the Mabolo Elementary School in Cebu.

The photo reached 14,000 shares and 200,000 reactions on social media.

The situation faced by the photographer was a result of the digital age, as taking a photo during special events is now more accessible, making professional camerapeople redundant.

Meanwhile, several netizens expressed their sympathy to the photographer.

Some of them even advised the photographer to change his strategy to survive.

“I’m Sorry para tay tatay…pero sa mundong ito, kailangan mong ma adapt at makipagsabayan sa pagbabago…dahil pag hindi, maiiwanan ka talaga ng panahon!” netizen Bernard said.

“Nakakalungkot pero sobrang mahal naman kasi ng picture bawat isa ay 50 t0 100 peses kaya khit gusto kunin inde makuha dahil mahal,” netizen John Lester commented.
