Content creator and mime street performer Jhonwel Reyes also known as ‘Green Soldier’ announced that they were expecting a baby.

Reyes was wearing his signature ‘green soldier’ costume while her partner was also wearing green during a maternity shoot taken by photographer Eliza Consul.

Reyes received congratulatory messages from the netizens, but the performer didn’t also evade the netizens who made a joke about the good news.

Some netizens said in jest that the upcoming baby of Reyes may also become green, but the performer didn’t positively take the joke of the netizens.

“Pag labas din po ba ng baby nyo color green?” netizen Karen Gerenoso asked.

“Ganda mo sana Kaso Mukang kulang ka sa utak o sa pansin?” Reyes responded.

Followers of Reyes expressed disappointment that the mime performer couldn’t take jokes while his job was to make people laugh.

“Dinamdamdam masyado nagbibiro lng naman siguro ung tao,” netizen Kenneth Aldave commented.

“Nag theme kayo ng green tas trademark mo dn. Ngayong nagsidejoke iyakin ka.” netizen Philip Almanzor said.

A lucky follower also received a special mention from Reyes after the netizen posted an edited photo of comedian ‘Mura’ being color green.

“Ok lang kahit Hindi nyo kami bigyan maski konting Respeto sa Simpleng kaligayan namin, Pero sana Naman Wag ninyong Idamay Baby ko,” Reyes told the netizen.

Reyes became viral last year because of his mime performances in Baguio City.
