A teacher working at Oton Central Elementary School shared that some of their items went missing after unidentified suspects entered the property.
According to the post, they discovered that one of their rooms was ransacked on January 15, 2023, after they found the broken door padlock of the room.
The letter left by the thieves also captured the attention of the teacher and other residents of Iloilo.
The suspects explained that they were just forced to ransack the room because they need money to eat.
“Pasensya na wala kaming bigas. Kami ang magnanakaw,” the message said.
Netizens expressed sadness over the message, saying that the suspects really didn’t like what they did.
“Ok lang humingi kana man nang pasensya wag mo na ulitin…” a netizen said.
“Kaya nila sinulat kasi habang nagnanakaw sila nakukunsensya din sila,” another reader commented.
However, the message didn’t gain sympathy from the teacher because she noticed that the suspects left the cheaper appliances.
She even joked if the thieves was using an expensive variant of rice.
“Choosy sila, Jasmin siguro young bigas nila. Ayaw ng maliit at cheap na TV, youngSony talaga ang pinush!” the teacher said.
The teacher also posted the things missing in their room and asked the public to inform them if ever that someone offered to sell the following appliances:
1 Brandnew Aircon
1 big Bluetooth Speaker
1 ’21 inches Sony TV
1 volleyball and net
1 desk fan
3 wall fans
12 stand fans
As of writing, authorities are still trying to find the identity of the suspects who might possibly do the same thing again in the future.
