After days of receiving criticisms on social media, Alex Gonzaga finally met the waiter Allan Cristostomo whom she smudged with cake.

A photo posted by Florabel Resto and Catering service, showed the actress talking to the waiter and personally apologizing for her actions.

It can be remembered that Allan received support and sympathy from the netizens, saying that waiters like him should be respected during their work hours.

Allan also released a written statement saying that he already accepted the apology from Alex.

“Last January 17, 2023 around 6:30PM nasa work po ko pumunta po si ma’am alex kung saan po ko nagwowork then nag apologize and nagsorry siya saken tapos konting kwentuhan at sinabi ko po sa kanya na ok na po young nangyari. Ok na po kami,” Allan said.

 

The letter also included the name and signature of Allan.

Some netizens gave their theory of why Allan still needed to write a letter with his signature on it.

According to them, the said letter possibly a strategy of Alex do avoid being sued by the waiter.

“Alex is smart or whoever advised her to ask the handwritten settlement. It will prevent the waiter from any plans on suing the actress if he ,in the future, decides to . Sue her for moral damage with or without intention of getting money. Smart Alex lol.” a  netizen said.

Some also said that the letter wrote by Allan is called ‘incident report’.

“This is what you called, INCIDENT REPORT SA FNB. Pero bakit ang waiter pa ang gumawa nito, siya ba ang may kasalanan or nagkasala. Dahil ba napagutusan ng boss o ng manager. Parang ang lumalabas pa na may kasalanan sa nangyari ay yung waiter.” netizen Raffy Santos commented.

“How sad that kailangan talaga niyang sumulat for proof.” netizen Cha Gutierrez remarked.
