Some netizens guessed that Agot was talking about President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who’s often going outside the country as part of his presidential trip.
“Free flight, free hotel & free shopping. All courtesy of the Filipino taxpaying public!” netizen @maccaburian said.
“Grabe naman mama got…. naka ilang travel destination na ang mga accla… ano yon field trip???!! Nakakaloka talaga.. may pa jet jet pa feeling potus na lagi nasa peligro buhay…” netizen @IMCRYSTAL_Clair commented.
“BBM = Ba-Byaheng Muli,” netizen @b3nch23 remarked.
Since his start of presidency, Marcos already traveled to eight countries, Belgium, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, and the United States.
In February 2023, Marcos was set to visit Japan to meet Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
The international trips of the president received opposition from his critics, claiming that the money of the public was being wasted especially when he made an unnounced visit to Singapore to watch 2022 Grand Prix.
