Veteran comedian and Eat Bulaga host Allan K expressed disappointment with the changes that happened to the Miss Universe organization.
In his tweets, Allan did not mince his words against the Miss Universe pageant recently held at Louisiana on January 15.
The said organization was currently being led by Thai billionaire Anne Jakrajutatip and even the current leadership didn’t sit well with the veteran comedian.
According to the Eat Bulaga dabarkads also known as ‘Pambansang Ilong ng Pilipinas’, Thais like Anne should not handle any beauty pageant because of their beliefs.
Allan made the said tweets after Miss Universe Philippines Celeste Cortesi fail to enter the top 16 of the competition.
“Hindi talaga dapat taga thailand ang pinapahawak ng mga beauty contests eh. Iba ang pananaw nila,” Allan said.
The comedian also took swipe against Miss Universe new owner’s speech where the billionaire said that the organization is now being handled by women.
“May paspeech? Galit sa mundo,” he said.
It can be remembered that many netizens criticized Anne’s speech because they found that her speech was all about herself.
βWelcome to the Miss Universe Organization. From now on, itβs gonna be run by women, owned by trans woman for all women!” Anne told the audience.

Fortunately, Filipino-American R’Bonney Gabriel won the prestigious pageant that made Allan’s mood better.

Some netizens defended the organization from the comedian.
“This new org po is looking for a transformational leader. Those top 16, by watching on their taped interview, halos karamihan ay deserve. Girls are already working on their respective charity or NGOs prior to their pageants.” netizen @sntiagojoey said.
“Deserv naman ng Top 5 lalo Ni Ms. USA its not always for The Philippines Ms. A,” netizen @angelieharold21 remarked.
