Singil ng parking sa Seaside Dampa sa Pasay City, umabot sa P500

Seaside Dampa in Pasay City was known for being a place to find fresh kinds of seafood and ‘paluto’ restaurants.

However, the said spot also became infamous because of alleged overcharging to their customers.

Just last month, Dennis Padilla who ate together with his friend in one of the restaurants at Seaside Dampa complained when they were charged by P38,000 for the seafood they ordered.

“Nakaka-frustrate, nakakalungkot, kasi kapwa Pilipino ganoon ang ginagawa nila so kung pupunta kayo dito, tanong niyo muna kung magkano,” Padilla said.

“Sanay kaming magbayad ng mahal pero eto sobra,” he added.

Padilla even urged the government agencies to investigate the said place.

On January 6, 2023, Seaside Dampa has gone viral again on social media after television host James Deakin shared a photo showing how much was the fee for non-customers to park there.

The photo shows that non-customers should pay P500 if they decided to park at Seaside Dampa.

They even said that aside from the P500, vehicle owners should pay P300 per additional hour.

However, a netizen defended the decision of the Seaside Dampa, saying that it’s their right to charge fees to their non-customers.

“I guess it was referring to non customers, strategies siguro nila para walang mag park na iba to give prior to their real customers,” a netizen said.
