Pastor Apollo Quiboloy quickly beat his own record after scoring 119 points in a recent basketball game held at Davao City Sunday.
In a Facebook post, the team of the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) proved that age doesn’t slow him down when it comes to basketball.
According to the report, Quiboloy made 22-3 points, 24-2 points, 5 free throws, and 1 assist making his team ACQ All-Star to overwhelm their opponent ACQ Selection.
They even compared Quiboloy to NBA player Wilt Chamberlain who scored 100 points in a single game.
The media team of Quiboloy also insisted that their opponents guard the Pastor.
“His very first field goal was a three pointer and just like that , he was on his way to break the record for most points in a game, rivaling the previous record of 100 points made by Wilt Chamberlain on March 2, 1962.” the post from Quiboloy Facebook page read.
“Pastor made an array of shots, and having a high basketball IQ, he knew the Selection would try to double team him from making consecutive and back to back three point shots.” they added.
It can be remembered that Quiboloy didn’t impress all the basketball fans after they saw that the Pastor was only being guarded lightly by their opponent during his 92-point game on December 11.
Quiboloy didn’t respond to his critics, but he encouraged people to stay healthy like him by playing sports even if they’re already old.
