A Kakampink couple who vowed to tie a know if former Vice President Leni Robredo wins the presidential race gave an update about their relationship.

Last year, the couple has gone viral on social media and received thousands of comments from both supporters and critics of Robredo after placing the fate of their relationship in the outcome of the election.

“Ikakasal kami na si Leni ang Presidente,” the couple wrote on their placard.

Robredo lost the race to President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. who got more than 31 million votes.

The couple identified as Ariean and Emanuelle shared that they still continued their wedding plans despite the loss of Robredo.

Kakampink singer Johnoy Danao who performed at the wedding of Ariean and Emanuelle shared the photo taken during the wedding of the couple.

“Pangakong tinupad ang tumugtog sa kasal nila Ariean at Emanuelle. Congrats sainyo!” the singer said.

The photo received thousands of likes and shares online.

They also received congratulatory messages from their fellow Kakampinks.

Some netizens even joked that the couple should have waited until 2028.

It’s not known if Robredo attended the wedding of her solid supporters.
