Veteran journalist Ramon “Mon” Tulfo couldn’t stop himself from criticizing the outfit of Vice President Sara Duterte during their Christmas party at her office.

In a Facebook post, Tulfo questioned if Duterte was really the Vice President of the Philippines after wearing casual clothes, sunglasses, and a floral crown during the party.

“Ito ba ang Pangalawang Pangulo ng bansa? Oo nga’t may paligsahan ng mga costume sa Christmas party sa Office of the Vice President (OVP), pero kelangan ba niyang sumali at ipababa ang kanyang kagalang-galang na puwesto?” said Tulfo.

He even claimed that the past Vice Presidents including Leni Robredo didn’t wear funny costumes.

“Di ginawa ni Leni Robredo ang magsuot ng katawa-tawang costume. Di rin ginawa ni Jojo Binay. Di rin ginawa ni Noli de Castro. At di rin ginawa ni Erap Estrada kahit siya’y lasenggo.” he said.

“Di ginawa ng mga nauna kay Sara Duterte ang magsuot ng nakakatawang costume dahil ginalang nila ang puwesto ng pangalawang lider ng bansa.

“Sara should exercise a modicum of decorum befitting her position,” he added.

The post of Tulfo received comments from the netizens and reminded the journalist of what Robredo wear during the campaign period.

“VP SARA lang ang SAKALAM, tao lang bakit porke’t VP hindi puede mag say,” said netizen Roselle.

“Yung mga previous VP di talaga ginawa yan, in fact wala talaga silang ginawa para sa bayan. Hindi nasusukat sa kasuotan ang pagbibigay ng respeto sa isang tao.” netizen Remi commented.

Some even reminded Tulfo of what happened to him at the hands of Claudine Barretto and Raymart Santiago in 2012.
