Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC) founder Pastor Apollo Quiboloy shocked the basketball fans after he scored 92 points in a game held at the Jose Maria College’s Sky Gym in Davao City, Sunday night.
SMNI News posted the highlights of Quiboloy who was declared as the MVP during their game against ACQ Selection.
The score of Quiboloy was only the same as their opponent that also scored 92 points against the team of the 72-year-old pastor with a total of 115 points.
They described the feat of the pastor as record-breaking.
Last month, Quiboloy also scored 77 points during a basketball match between the SMNI Selection team.
The Pastor beats the record of late basketball player Kobe Bryant who achieved an 81-point score against the Raptors in 2006.
Quiboloy needed 8 more points to match the record of Wilt Chamberlain who scored 100 points in 1962.
However, some netizens noticed that no one was guarding Quiboloy during the match.
But some defended Quiboloy, saying that even without a guard it’s hard to achieve 92 points in a basketball match.
As of writing, the highlights of Quiboloy already reached thousands of views online and also received mixed comments from the netizens.
