A netizen couldn’t stop herself from noticing the expensive clothes and bags of former Vice President Leni Robredo who’s traveling abroad now in other countries after six years of serving the country.
Krizette Laureta Chu posted some of the ‘imported bags’ of Robredo, portrayed by some of her supporters as “simple” and “down-to-earth”.
She also noticed the Ferragamo Gancini clutch bag of Robredo that according to the brand’s website cost €895 or P52,440.
However, she believed that it was better for Robredo to stop using imported bags and use locally made items to promote her own countrymen’s craft.
“Sayang na imported na bags ang gamit ni Mama when she’s traveling, considering she attends mga Katutubo Popup Market naman. Dami sanang magandang opportunities to use local bags.” Chu said.
“My suggestion to FL LIZA MARCOS, pls use local bags and shoes when representing our country abroad. You already support local designers so maybe we can show off nice bags from Aranaz, jewelry from Makitalo, etc,” she added.
Netizens also gave their reaction to the photos posted by Chu.
“Pera at sariling buhay naman niya yan, pero ayun nga, wag niya nang sabihin na simple lang siyang mamamayan hehehehe kasi yun ang prob. in this aspect, her lips don’t back up her lifestyle.” netizen Ann said.
“Ang mahal kaya ng ferragamo, mga shoes amo dto halos lahat pati bag. Taz sabihn simple lang c Leni? my gulay pinkish supporters. 1 buwan at kalahti sahod q dto sa taiwan ang pinakamura niyan,” netizen Rhein commented.
“Truly, she is the right representation of the “Laylayan” hahahaha,” netizen Mark remarked.
