Former four-division world boxing champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes apologized to a customer for a possible late delivery after his motorcycle got stuck in the mud.

In a Facebook post, Nietes shared the condition of his motorcycle and asked the customer to be patient as he was trying to remove his bike from the mud.

“Sorry for late delivery,” Nietes said.

Last week, Nietes has gone viral on social media after announcing that he’s now a food delivery rider.

He received thousands of praise from netizens for still continuing to work despite winning big in his career as a boxer.

“Pinahirapan nyo mag deliver si champ. KO yon kapag nag cancel ng order,” sabi ni Tsong Peping.

“Sana i consider sya ng food panda as indorser, celebrity pa din sya kahit papano, ride safe lodi, ahas nietes,” wika ni Dilbert Brillante.

Aside from being a food delivery rider, he’s also selling supplements.

It was not clear if the former boxing champion was working due to financial difficulties or just trying to pass time while he was waiting for his next fight.

In his career as a boxer, he became a world champion in four weight classes: WBO mini-flyweight, The Ring junior-flyweight, IBF flyweight, and WBO junior-bantamweight.

He’s also one of the only three Filipinos achieved world titles in at least four weight classes alongside with Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire.
