“The entire country was in disarray when a super typhoon slammed the islands of Visayas and Luzon.. But why is everyone so quiet as MINDANAO drowns right now? This is how it has always been! Where are the vloggers & influencers??” ani Maaño.
“We need your platforms to spread words on what’s happening in our kababayans in COTABATO and MAGUINDANAO province! People and animals are dying!!! Homes, schools, and hospitals are being washed out!! My heart breaks with these people.. knowing that they have been one of the most welcoming and kindest people I’ve met.. I am aware of the resilience and independence of the people of Mindanao. But each of us must do our part!! In this crisis, THEY NEED US!!!” dagdag pa niya.
“What I’m trying to say here is that Cotabato and Maguindanao are not receiving the same attention like the big and well-known cities who have previously faced the same issue. These provinces in Mindanao really needs media attention… both on social and tv networks.. not by just broadcasting news to everyone, but also by launching fundraising campaigns.” paliwanag niya.
“Similar to what the netizens & communities did for all the cities that experienced the same problem before.. That’s why I called out all the influencers and LGUs of different cities so that together we can start raising funds for all the affected areas and not wait on what the government will give us. We should not always rely and depend on them.. their funds are limited.” dagdag pa niya.
